PRP Facial Rejuvination / Vampire Facial

How it works

Your blood is drawn from your arm just as in getting routine blood lab tests and collected in specialised containers which are then placed in a centrifuge machine to separate the various components of the blood. The portion of the plasma rich in platelets is then drawn into syringes to be injected back into the areas being treated. Strict aseptic and antiseptic precautions are maintained.

The various components of the PRP including growth factors helps repair and regenerate blood vessels, promote cell growth, wound healing and collagen production. These promote healing of the damaged hair follicles and also help regrowing lost hair by prolonging the growing phase of the hair cycle.

Typically, PRP injection treatments are administered once a month for 3 months initially phase and thereafter spread out every 3 – 4 months for upto 2 years.

There are virtually no side effects of PRP as components from your own blood are used.
